Do you just coach people who are training for marathons?

No. I work with clients who are training for 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and marathons. My clients run the gamut from seasoned veterans to beginner runners. I've coached many clients to PRs, better health, and continued running successes.


Do you do any group training programs?

YES. I coach group training programs that target a variety of events (half marathons and marathons primarily) in the SF/Bay Area. Here's a Link to my Group Training Programs.

Additionally, I partner with a variety of non-profit agencies in launching training/fundraising programs that benefit their particular cause. Here is a Link to my Group Training/Fundraising Programs.


What do I need to do to get started?

Why should I pay for your programs or services when I can join an endurance training program, buy a book, or get a training plan from the web?  

There's nothing wrong with the aforementioned options, but none of these options are catered to your background, your goals, and your needs.

My focus is on the individual and offering a training solution that is tailored exclusively to your background, your goals, and your needs.

Additionally, I am a personal coach for all of my clients. I pride myself on providing motivation, inspiration, and support for everyone I coach.


Where do we meet for workouts?

The vast majority of the clients I work with are in the San Francisco/Bay Area. My preferred workout locations are: Ocean Beach, Kezar Stadium, and Crissy Field. However, there are a number of clients who I meet with at their homes or other locations. Ultimately, the client dictates the location of the workout.


What time do we meet for our workouts?

I tend to meet with most clients early in the morning (6-7 AM) or in the early evening (6-7 PM). But, I have a number of clients I meet with later in the morning, over lunch, or later in the evening. I try to accommodate my client's schedule as much as possible.

Before I hired Matt to coach me, I would make any excuse possible not to run. With a tough triathlon on my calendar, however, I decided that I needed some help.
